Membership terms

What you get

Membership includes the option to join two live group Q&A sessions each month, held by James Christensen over Zoom. Session dates, times, and links are sent by email to the address you joined with. Sessions are not recorded. Missed sessions are not made up or credited.

If James has to cancel a session, he will reschedule it within the same month when he can.

Price and automatic renewal

Membership costs $40 (USD) a month. Your card is charged when you join and again on the same date each month. Your membership renews automatically every month until you cancel.

If the price ever changes, you will be told by email before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime online at Manage membership, using the email you joined with. You can also call or text James at 916-292-8920 and ask him to cancel for you. After you cancel, you keep access through the end of the month you have already paid for and you are not charged again.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied, call or text James at 916-292-8920 and ask for a refund of your most recent monthly payment.

Education, not therapy

The sessions are group education. They are not therapy or counseling, they do not create a therapist-client relationship, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional who knows your situation. James will not diagnose or give individual treatment in a session.

Privacy in the group

Other members will hear what you share. You may use only your first name and keep your camera off. By joining, you agree to keep what other members share private, and not to record, screenshot, or share any session or its Zoom link. A group session is not confidential the way therapy is.

James may remove anyone who is disruptive or does not respect these terms, and will refund the current month if he does.

Your information

Payments are processed by Stripe. This site never sees or stores your card number. Your name and email are kept in James’s email service so he can send session details. Session details come through that same email service, so if you unsubscribe from James’s emails you will also stop getting session emails. To leave the membership, cancel it instead.
